ANALOGALCHEMY / COMPARE / SONG CREATOR PRO
AnalogAlchemy vs Song Creator Pro: two ways to own the lab.
UPDATED JUNE 2026 · AN HONEST COMPARISON
The short verdict: these two apps agree about almost everything that matters — pay once, run the models on your own machine, work offline, keep your files, no credits. The honest decision is mostly which computer you own: Song Creator Pro is Windows-only; AnalogAlchemy is macOS (Apple Silicon) today, Windows coming. Where they differ beyond platform is scope — Song Creator Pro is a focused generator; AnalogAlchemy is a full studio with stem separation, local voice training and region-level editing built in.

What Song Creator Pro does better
Respect where it's earned — this is the app we'd point Windows users to today:
- It exists on Windows now. If your machine has an NVIDIA GPU and runs Windows, it's the established local option while our Windows build is still in development.
- Simple, focused scope. One job — text to song, locally — done with minimal surface area. If you don't need stems, voice training or editing, the smaller tool may suit you.
- Flat $49.99 forever. Their price doesn't go up after a launch window; AnalogAlchemy's early-bird $49 becomes $99 after the release-candidate period.
- Batch generation. Queue multiple variations in one run.
Where AnalogAlchemy goes further
The philosophy is shared; the toolchain isn't. AnalogAlchemy treats generation as the first step of a workflow, not the last:
- Stem Lab. Drop any audio file — not just generated ones — and split it into six stems (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano, other), each exportable as WAV. There's no equivalent in Song Creator Pro.
- Your voice, trained locally. Sing ten songs karaoke-style or upload recordings; a personal voice adapter trains on your hardware and future songs render in your voice. Nothing uploads, ever.
- Repaint, don't regenerate. When one bridge is wrong, paint 0:33 → 1:08 on the waveform and rewrite just those seconds. Batch re-rolls can't do surgery.
- Morph & reference tracks. Melt one track into another, or cover an existing song in a new skin.
- An assistant in the lab. The built-in AI helper knows your track's key, BPM and structure — ask for a sadder second verse and apply it straight to the song.
- A library, not a folder. Every take searchable by description, tone and tempo, scored and ready to play on any device in the room.
Two apps, one belief: your music should live on your machine. If you're on Windows, take Song Creator Pro for a spin. If you're on a Mac — the trial below costs nothing and doesn't even want your email.
